धर्म - धारणा हर दृष्टी से उपयोगी

धर्म को प्रतिगामी एवं अन्धविश्वासी कहना आज का फैशन हैं | तथाकथित बुद्धिवादी प्रगतिशीलता के जोश में धर्म को अफीम की गोली कहते और उसे प्रगति का अवरोध ठहराते पाये जाते हैं, पर ये बचकानी प्रवृत्ति मात्र हैं |

गंभीर चिंतन से इसी निष्कर्ष पर पहुचना पड़ता हैं की मनुष्य के अंतराल में आदर्शवादी आस्था बनाये रहना और निति-मर्यादा का पालन करना धर्मधारणा के सहारे ही संभव हो सकता हैं | भौतिक लाभों को प्रधानता देकर चलने और सदाचरण के अनुबंधों को तोड़ देने से उपलब्ध सम्पदाएँ दुष्प्रवृत्तियों को ही बढ़ायेंगी और अंततः विनाश का कारण बनेंगी |

The concept of religion is practical

To call religion/faith regressive, retrograde, backwards and superstition is in vogue today. Our so called intellectuals in the excitement of being liberal and radical, look at religion akin to getting high and see it as a hindrance to progress, this tenancy is quite childish and immature. After analyzing the concept carefully, we come to this conclusion that for a person to be continuously inspired (to progress towards an ideal), while maintaining her/his ethics, discharging her/his duties responsibly and fulfilling her/his obligations, is possible only because of faith. Giving significance to materialistic goals while crossing the boundaries of decency will always result in the increase of evil and malice which will ultimately lead to destruction.
