लोकमानस का परिष्कार ही श्रेष्ठ सेवा
सेवा साधना में पीड़ा निवारण का महत्व है, पर तात्कालिक राहत पहुँचाने के रूप में ही किया जा सकता है।
श्रेष्ठ स्तर की सेवा उसे ही कहा जायेगा जिससे समस्याओं को स्वयं हल करने की दिशा मिलती है। जिससे व्यक्ति स्वयं अपनी गुत्थियों को सुलझाने की सामर्थ्य विकसित कर सके।
इस उद्देश्य को पूरा करने वाली सेवा ही आध्यात्मिक स्तर की सेवा मानी जानी चाहिए।
अन्य को अनावश्यक तो नहीं बताया जा रहा, उनकी भी समय और परिस्थिति के अनुसार आवश्यकता है , परन्तु सेवा का वह अभ्यास सदैव जारी रखा जा सके वैसे अवसर कम ही आते हैं ।
विचार सेवा या पतन के उन्मूलन का अवसर सदैव प्रस्तुत है । वह श्रेष्ठ भी है और सहज भी।

Transformation of thoughts -
greatest service to humankind
Alleviating human pain and suffering is a significantly important way to render service to humankind. But service in such a way can be rendered only in the form of providing immediate relief.
Highest form of service would be to, provide one with the mindset to solve problems. A mindset, perspective, way of thinking which will enable a person to develop the capacity for solving ones own problems.
Service aimed at fulfilling such an objective is spiritual in nature.
We don't intend to say that the other forms of service are unnecessary, at an appropriate time and place they too are necessary, but an opportunity to do such activities continuously is quite rare.
“Thought-service” - A service rendered to elevate, reform the level of ones' thinking - can be rendered uninterrupted. What’s more, this kind of help or service is simple to offer and most excellent in nature as well.
